Did you know–Children can be taken to a psychiatric ward from school–Action alert

by | Jun 15, 2011

Over 3000 separate incidences of children being escorted from school grounds to a psychiatric receiving facility and held in a secured ward, separate from their parents, and without parental consent, in one year.

More than 3 children out of every 1000 Florida children, on average were involuntarily committed in 2007!
What could possibly justify an average of 52 statewide mental health commitments, of children, to facilities per day?
CCHR Florida has projects you can help with that are easy, fun, creative and effective.
These projects help to educate the public about their rights in the field of mental health.

What you can do, currently, to help:

  1. You can play our new video game- click https://www.cchrflorida.org/youthgroup/index.html
  2. You can submit a music video or performance poetry video to our 2011 contest, click here: https://www.cchrflorida.org/music-contest.html
  3. You can join our blog and help spread the word to all youth that you know, about the NEW CCHR Florida Youth Group: www.disorderfree.com

  4. You can join our page at www.facebook.com/CCHRyouthforchage
  5. For those who played the game to check out the new book “White King Rising”.  It is now on the best seller list.  This is a book that helps to expose psychiatry.

We learned that Amazon rates books by CUSTOMER REVIEW-quantity and number of stars.  We have consistently been in the top rated list, in the top 100, for over a month now in Political Fiction in Kindle, due to the review comments that readers have made already on the site.  We don’t have many reviews posted though.
So, here is what is needed now:
If you have read AT ANY TIME either “White King and the Doctor” or “White King Rising” or both, please go to Amazon.com and write a review of whichever book(s) you have read.  You can write a review at Amazon WITHOUT MAKING A PURCHASE, but you will need to “register” at Amazon.  It’s FREE and doesn’t take long to do, and carries no obligation with it.  It will only take a few minutes to do, and we would like to do it in the MONTH OF JUNE.
