Teenage Suicide and Anti-Psychotic Drugs

by | Sep 17, 2013

ChildTeenage suicide rates have risen sharply and alarmingly over the past decade. This can be attributed to one fact alone: the prescribing of anti-psychotic drugs to children and young adults.
The pretended concern of psychiatrists for the mental health of our children has resulted in this disturbing statistic: patients treated today with antipsychotics are 20 times more likely to commit suicide.
Allowing these supposed “experts in mental health” to treat our most precious and vulnerable citizens is dangerous indeed. Psychiatrists and other “mental experts” are essentially actors, playing the part of the authoritative expert, pretending to understand human suffering and its workings. However, by their own admission they have absolutely no cures for mental disorders and do not have a medical test that can evidence one-single mental health disorder.
And teenagers are one group that has suffered accordingly. Although psychiatrists and, those that perpetuate the prescribing of psychiatric drugs,  allege concern for the rise of young people taking their lives, they ignore the part their own anti-psychotic drugging plays in the statistic, as well as the other classes of psychiatric drugs that carry the Black Box warning of suicidal ideation. Teenage suicide is on the increase, traced directly to the increase of psychiatric drugging.
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation called “Lifetime Suicide Rates in Treated Schizophrenia and 1994-1998 Cohorts Compared” proved that patients dosed with antipsychotic drugs are 20 times more likely to commit suicide. Keep in mind this is a study done over 15 years ago: the suicide rates and other violent crimes by antipsychotic users have continued to climb.
Unbelievably, these same anti-psychotics are prescribed readily for young people with diagnosed ADD, autism, depression and bipolar.
The same study compared the suicide rates of schizophrenia patients from the period of 1875-1924. Of course, the big pharmaceutical giants were nonexistent, so there were no drugs to peddle. And the suicide rates were 20 times less than they are today with psychiatry’s “miracle drugs.”
What are some of the symptoms caused by anti-psychotic drugs in children?
A parent can expect to see this occur with his child when he or she is put on this medication:

  • Weight gain
  • Problems with menstrual periods
  • Sunburn and skin rashes
  • Muscle spasms of the neck, eye, back or other muscles
  • Restlessness and pacing
  • Slowing down of movement and speech
  • A shuffling walk
  • Parkinson’s disease like symptoms
  • Increased risk of suicide

Parents concerned for their children’s future have access to many alternative ways to help them deal with problems, school and interrelationships. They do not have to listen to the flawed opinions of those who will prescribe these very addictive drugs, but can do research on ways to handle difficulties, starting with a complete physical examination.  Medical doctors all over the world are specializing in traditional medicine whereby they perform thorough physical testing to detect and evidence the underlying physical cause of any unwanted mental health symptoms.
No parent should have to deal with the heartbreak of a teenage suicide. The death of one child as a direct result of dangerous antipsychotic drugs should have been enough to outlaw the practice years ago.
The fact that mental health “experts” continue to promote drugs as a way to handle teenage problems should be proof enough that they do not have the best interests of you or your child at heart.
