Ritalin destroying hearts?

Ritalin is one of the most common medications to treat ADHD and ADD in children.
It is also one of the most deadliest!
“Stimulant products and atomoxetine should generally not be used in patients with serious heart problems, or for whom an increase in blood pressure or heart rate would be problematic. Patients treated with ADHD medications should be periodically monitored for changes in heart rate or blood pressure.”
That is the General Warning for taking ADHD Medications, unfortunatley that isn’t all of the truth.
There have been many cases of sudden deaths from heart failure  as a result of taking Ritalin where the person had no existing heart problems. But now Psychiatrists are claiming that Ritalin does not harm the heart at all, so what is the actual truth?
14 year old Matthew suddenly died on March 21,2000. The cause of death was determined to be from the long-term (age 7-14) use of Methylphenidate, a drug commonly known as Ritalin. Matthew had a perfect health heart with no pre-existing heart conditions or defects before taking ritalin, during the autopsy his heart showed clear signs of small vessel damage caused from the use of Methylphenidate (Ritalin). This is just one of the many stories of how Ritalin can damage you heart similar to Cigarettes, street drugs or any other substance that are advertised to damage the heart.
About 2.5 million American children are on medications to treat their “ADHD”, that means two and a half million kids are at risk to heart failure just like young Matthew. The American Heart Association is now recommending that children should be screened for and heart problems or defects before taking drugs like Ritalin.
That still doesn’t solve the whole problem. Ritlain is destroying hearts whether or not a child’s heart is healthy or has a defect prior to taking the drug.
