As 2010 comes to an end, we reflect back on what CCHR Florida has accomplished in 2010.  CCHR Florida enlightens and fights for so many individuals, on so many mental health issues, it is difficult to count.

Some of the issues have been TeenScreen, Medicare, Medicaid, involuntary commitment, The Baker Act, veterans, the elderly, legislative issues such as the U.S. Health Care Bill, child drugging, abusive psychiatrists and psychologists, foster care, over prescribing medication, mental health screening, Big Pharma, military, The Mother’s Act, psychiatric abuse, Psychiatric Living Will, ADHD/ADD, special education, psychotropic drug warnings, drugs in our schools, Informed Consent, parents rights, electric shock, current news and so much more!

We work shoulder to shoulder with like-minded individuals and groups to eradicate psychiatric abuse in Florida.  We investigate and expose the violations of mental health human rights so that your Human Rights are preserved.  We will continue our fight in 2011 to do this work until abusive and coercive practices committed under the guise of mental health are eradicated and human rights and dignity are returned to all.

We thank you all for the support you have given us in 2010 and wish to know what you wish to learn more about in 2011.  Leave a comment below to let us know and stay informed!
