Pass it Forward—The Right to be a Youth

Make a 2 minute video of your own self-expression.

We want to create a movement where all youth get to see these videos, so we are playing the game to “Pass it Forward ---Pass the video forward.

When you have completed your video, email it to info@cchrflorida.org. It will help to make known the harmful effects of psychiatric labeling, diagnosing and drugging and the freedom that youth experience when they are being an individual, not a label.

2. All video clips need to be rated “G” for General Audience.

3. Each video clip needs to be done in a “Windows” format.

4. Your video clip needs to have a red helium balloon in it, somewhere, with a white label that says either “label-free”, “drug-free” or “disorder-free”, in black ink, placed on the balloon.

5. Your clip needs to have some sort of geographical landmark in it that is particular to the region that you reside in.

6. Each person who submits a video clip needs to sign the release statement below and fax, mail or email it into our office so that we have permission to use your clip in an upcoming video.

Reasons for the Game:

Many individuals, throughout the world, are given a mental health or behavioral health label, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Bipolar.  What they are not told is that Psychiatrists at an American Psychiatric Association convention were asked, “Are there any medical or scientific tests for psychiatric disorders?”

The answer, one-for-one, was “NO”.  (see “No Science No Cures “ video online)

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida helps to educate individuals about their right NOT to be labeled.
