Millions of children worldwide are placed on mind-altering psychiatric drugs. Their parents are never given the full information on the FDA warnings and side effects.  This leads to tragic consequences. Parents are not told that there are no medical tests to prove that one single mental health disorder exists. They are not told that there are medical tests that can be done to detect underlying physical causes, such as nutritional deficiencies, allergies, thyroid problems and more.

Music and poetry are universal languages that can be used to communicate the truth to millions of families.

This is what one young man had to say after watching the DVD.

“All drugs are bad whether they are prescribed or not. Either way they all affect the brain and the brain is one of the most important things in your body.

“I say let nature take its course. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. They base the diagnoses off of opinion.  They say if you have ADD, ADHD, depression, etc., then you have a chemical imbalance. But there is no scientific test to prove that fact.

“I, myself, have been diagnosed with ADD and depression. And I now have a strong disagreement on taking my meds. I haven’t had thoughts of suicide yet and I do not want to. I don’t want to get out of control. I am going to get medical help to get off these meds because something severe could happen to me.

“I am glad I saw this video before something worse could have happened to me.”

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida (CCHR Florida) is a non-profit public benefit organization that investigates and exposes psychiatric violations of human rights. It works shoulder-to-shoulder with like-minded groups and individuals who share a common purpose to clean up the field of mental health.
CCHR Florida shall continue to do this work until abusive and coercive practices committed under the guise of mental health are eradicated and human rights and dignity are returned to all.

While CCHR Florida does not provide medical or legal advice, it does work closely with attorneys and medical doctors and supports medical, but not psychiatric, practices.

Mental health:

No one denies that people can have difficult problems in their lives and that at times they can feel mentally unstable. Mental health care is therefore both valid and necessary. However, the emphasis must be on workable mental healing methods that improve and strengthen individuals and thereby society by restoring people to personal strength, ability, competence, confidence, stability, responsibility and spiritual well-being.

May is Mental Health Month. This is another way of combating mental health abuse in our community.

The competition is for anyone with an experience or knowledge of what harm psychiatry or their abusive therapies can do. This includes: therapy, psychiatric drugs, electric shock, mental health screening, drugs in our schools, etc.

The top 3 articles will be posted on our website (http://www.cchrflorida.org) or blog (http://www.cchrflorida.org/blog).  All other entries will be posted at the sole discretion of CCHR Florida.
